Bog & Thunder and Bev's Bagels are so excited to welcome Aishling Moore of Goldie (Cork, Ireland) to Detroit for a 6-course meal including some of Goldie's most popular dishes as well as showcasing Great Lakes seafood. This meal will be hosted in the beautiful Core City Park outside of Bev's Bagels in Detroit.
Aishling Moore is one of Ireland’s most exciting young chefs. Her fish restaurant, Goldie, in Cork’s city centre, has pioneered grill to fin, whole catch cooking in Ireland. Goldie was awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand and won Best Casual Dining in Ireland 2022 by both Food & Wine Magazine and The Restaurant Association of Ireland. In 2023, Aishling was awarded young chef of the year by Food & Wine Magazine and Best Chef at the Irish Restaurant Awards.
In April 2024 Aishling released her first cookbook Whole Catch as part of the Blasta Books series. Copies will be available to purchase and sign.

Join Bog & Thunder founders Kate McCabe and Max Sussman for a good old-fashioned backyard cookout, Aishling Moore style! This is the grand finale of Aishling's weeklong party in the USA and we are pulling out all the culinary stops! Aishling, Kate, and Max will be cooking up a wild feast with seafood, meat, and veggies grilled over an outdoor fire, flatbreads, and tons of sides, dips, and salads. We'll have some tables and chairs, feel free to bring extra chairs or a picnic blanket.
